No injuries reported after car fire in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Springfield fire crews worked to put out a car fire early Sunday morning.

Springfield Arson & Bomb Squad Commander Captain Brian Tetreault told 22News crews were called to the area of 59 Van Buren Avenue where a Jeep was found in flames. Tetreault said no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Springfield Arson & Bomb Squad.
