Crews were called to East Dwight Street for a fire inside an apartment building Thursday night.

Holyoke Fire Captain Kevin Cavagnac told 22News the call came in shortly after firefighters arrived at 4 Loomis Avenue for a single-family house fire.

When firefighters arrived at 222 East Dwight St., they found a fire that had originated in a third-floor bedroom of the four-story apartment building.

Captain Cavagnac said two sprinkler heads activated in the bedroom, allowing all occupants to escape uninjured.
