One injured after shooting on Canon Circle in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – A man was injured Monday night during a shooting in Springfield.

According to Springfield Police Spokesperson Ryan Walsh, officers were called to Canon Circle at 9:35 p.m. where they found man suffering from a gunshot wound.

Walsh said the man’s injuries are non-life-threatening, and he was taken to Baystate Medical Center. 

Springfield police are looking into what led up to the incident.
