Patients, families share life-changing stories during ‘Love to the Rescue Radiothon’

Shriner’s Hospital patients and families are sharing inspiring stories about how the hospital changed their lives. 

The 7th annual Love to the Rescue Radiothon is underway at Shriners Hospital in Springfield. The two-day event is hosted by MIX 93.1 and NewsRadio 560 WHYN.

Lee Kirk, an administrator from the hospital told 22News, “65-75 percent of the care provided to over 12,000 children in 2018 is provided by donors, Shriner’s and their families and systems support.”

The radiothon will continue until Friday night at 7 p.m.
