Nene is a tiny fellow but he’s got a lot of love to give to his new person or family. Nene loves squeak toys and cuddling, and he’s the type to burrow under the covers to stay nice and warm! He has been taught some tricks like sit, paw, stay and others, but he will need to have his house training worked on. Other favorite things include fetching and retrieving a ball, having his chest and belly rubbed and playing a good game of chase. Nene is very affectionate and protective of his person. Dakin Humane Society Participating in Jackson Galaxy’s Cat Pawsitive Pro program
Dakin is one of 10 shelters nationwide currently being trained in the Jackson Galaxy Cat Pawsitive Pro program. Our staff and volunteers are learning how to teach shelter cats tricks like “high five” to keep their minds engaged and to be more appealing to prospective adopters.
