FEEDING HILLS, Mass. (WWLP) – Police were called to a collision involving a motorcycle and a tractor trailer truck on Southwick Street in Feeding Hills Tuesday afternoon.
Just around 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Agawam Police received a call regarding a collision involving a motorcycle and a tractor trailer truck. Upon arrival, officers found the operator of the motorcycle, a 35 year-old male from Agawam, alert and conscious. He was taken to a local hospital and treated for minor injuries.
According to police, it was determined that the incident occurred as the operator of the tractor trailer was exiting the Agawam Country Club, and the motorcycle collided with the rear section of the trailer.
Further investigation revealed that the motorcycle had malfunctioning front brakes, which caused him to come in contact with the tractor trailer unit.
