Still no vote on whether Holyoke should purchase the long vacant Mater Dolorosa Church.
A Holyoke subcommittee Monday night decided to forward the matter to the full city council for a vote.
Holyoke City Councilor David Bartley told 22News a vote need to take place soon because of a July 18 deadline on the purchase and sale agreement between Holyoke and the Diocese of Springfield.
The $50,000 purchase and sale is only for the building, and not the parking lot or Polish artifacts still inside Mater Dolorosa.
The City Council Meets Thursday.
