Second-annual Murphy’s Irish Ale release party held in Ludlow

Hampden County

The second-annual Murphy’s Irish Ale release party was held Saturday night in Ludlow.

Iron Duke Brewing teamed up with the Springfield St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee for the event.

The event included food trucks, beer, music and Irish step dancing by the Black Rose Academy of Dance.

2019’s Springfield Colleen Rose Mccamfrey was also at the event. She told 22News she is happy to support the Springfield St. Patrick’s Day Committee and be a role model for the younger dancers in the Black Rose Academy of Dance.

“It’s very nice to be able to mingle and be able to support the St. Patricks Day Committee,” said Rose McCamfrey.

All proceeds from the beer went to the St. Patrick’s Day Committee.

The owner of Iron Duke Nick Morin told 22News Murphy’s Ale is named after John Murphy, a friend who passed away.
