Holyoke Community College hosted a seminar on estate planning Monday night.
HCC gave members of the public the opportunity to learn about both estate planning and elder law.
The 6-hour course is broken up into three 2-hour sessions.
Attorney Karen Jackson teaches the series, and detailed the building blocks of estate planning.
Donat Fornier of Easthampton told 22News, “Well… already have a will, a durable power of attorney, and a healthcare proxy, but maybe I don’t have them set up correctly. And that’s something that I need to make sure that I change.”
There is a charge for the seminar.
The next session will take place at HCC on October 22nd.
