Six Flags New England will open its gates for the 2018 season on April 7 and will feature a new Gotham City area in the park.

According to Six Flags New England Spokesperson Jennifer McGrath, the Gotham City area of the park is the product of a partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products and DC Entertainment.

The park will be open daily for Massachusetts’ and Connecticut’s school spring breaks from April 7 to April 22. After that, the park will only be open on weekends until June 1, when it will start to be open daily.

Gotham City attractions available opening weekend are:

  • Batman the Dark Knight, The Joker 4D Free Fly Coaster
  • A newly-themed roller coaster The Riddler, which was formally known as The Mind Eraser.

McGrath said in late spring guests will also have the opportunity to enjoy a new Gotham-themed ride called “Harley Quinn Spinsanity.”

The ride is described as an “extreme pendulum ride” and is ranked as one the park’s fastest thrill rides.
