Two downtown Springfield business owners have been honored for their success in the city.
Nancy Feth and Mikki Lessard started a micro-business on Main Street at the Shops at Market Place.
Their success was recognized by the Small Business Administration, who honored them with a micro-enterprise of the year award.
Feth and Lessard told 22News what their secret to success is.
“The secret’s definitely the community coming together,” Feth said. “Supporting the work that we’re doing.”
“We are doing our very best to support that renaissance,” Lessard continued. “Creating a retail footprint that is significantly different, with a significant contribution to our community as a women-led, owned and operated experience in downtown Springfield.”
Feth and Lessard own Simply Serendipity Boutique and Dharma Yoga in the Shops at Market Place.
