Some roads in Westfield still plagued with potholes

Hampden County

It may be July but Westfield is still plagued with potholes and crews are still working to fix them.

Westfield’s Department of Public Works is working to repair a three-mile stretch of North Road between Route 202 and the Wyben section of the city.

DPW Superintendent David Phillips told 22News that the city will spend $400,000 using new technology to get rid of the potholes.

The work is not expected to be complete until Labor Day.
