Hundreds of western Massachusetts residents and Springfield College students attended a job fair at the school Tuesday afternoon.
The job fair wasn’t just for Springfield College students. People attending the event got a chance to meet with dozens of employers about internships and job opportunities.
One student told 22News why it’s important schools hold job fairs as students transition into the work force.
“So, now you’re taking a different path and I just feel like it’s great jobs come to this and really give us an opportunity to make us better,” said Aryanna Townsend, a Bay Path University freshman.
22News participated in the job fair, speaking with students about careers in journalism, broadcasting and web-reporting.
