SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – The Springfield Fire Department was sent to 70-72 West Alvord Street Sunday morning for a house fire.

According to the Springfield Fire Department, eight people are without a home and are being assisted by the Red Cross.

The Springfield Arson and Bomb Squad is still investigating the incident, and there are no reported injuries.
