A Springfield mother is pleading for someone to come forward with information about her missing son’s whereabouts.
Twenty-five-year-old Andrew Pearson was last seen leaving work in East Longmeadow on January 28.
Andrew’s mother, Bridgett Lockett, addressed the public during an emotional news conference with Acting Springfield Police Commissioner Cheryl Clapprood Thursday morning.
“Someone knows something I’m pleading out of my soul today. Out of my soul. That’s my first born. I gave birth to him and I want him back or I want to know what happened to him,” Lockett said. “Someone please free yourself. Free me, free me, give me peace. Oh God, oh God, give me peace God, please someone speak up, please.”
Lockett, joined by Andrew’s father, aunts, uncles, and grandparents, said it’s unlike him to disappear from his family– including his daughter. She said anyone who saw or talked to Andrew, gave him a ride, or hung out with him on January 28 to come forward.
Andrew Pearson’s father also joined his mother in the plea for information.
“I know someone knows where my son is and I hope someone steps forward and says something,” Pearson Sr. said. “He’s been missing way too long. We miss him and we love him and we want him to return as soon as possible.”
Police have checked all hospitals, shelters, and all other possible locations he might be, and followed every tip they’ve received, but have been unable to come up with any leads.
If you have any information on Pearson’s whereabouts, you are asked to contact Springfield Police at 413- 787-6302. You can also anonymously Text-A-Tip: Text CRIMES (274637), Type ‘SOLVE’ and then your tip .
