SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – The Springfield Police Department arrested one person after a crash Friday morning.

According to Springfield Police Spokesperson Ryan Walsh, at around 2:00 a.m., officers responded to Yale Street for a property damage crash. The man who was driving the car struck a car and a light pole.

Officers arrested the driver for operating under the influence of liquor. 22News will update this story as new information becomes available.
