Springfield Police looking for man reported missing since October

SPRINGFIELD, Mass (WWLP) – Springfield Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a missing man who has not been seen since October.

Springfield Police Department told 22News 57-year-old Wayne Hairston hasn’t been seen since October 21 after morning church services.

Hairston is said to be 5’1″ and 260lbs and is currently taking several medications.

Police said the posted the information back in October, but didn’t receive a tip or lead about him from the public. They say Hairston usually stays at the Rescue Mission, but his family members in the area have not heard from him in a week. 

Anyone with information on his whereabouts or tips are told to call 413-750-2253 or if you see him call 413-787-6302.
