Springfield residents share their concerns with elected officials

Hampden County

Springfield residents had the opportunity to share their concerns with elected officials Thursday evening.

Springfield City Councilors Jesse Lederman and Adam Gomez hosted a Town Hall meeting in the North End.

Dozens of Springfield community members shared their thoughts and questions.

The event was open to residents across the city.

The event is part of a series of Town Hall meetings that Lederman is facilitating across Springfield.

“We want to know exactly what more we can do to better serve our constituents,” said City Councilor Gomez. “We want to make sure with these town halls that were reaching every single avenue, every street, every corner of the city.”

A moment of silence for the victims of the Page Boulevard homicide investigation was held at Thursday evening’s meeting.
