Hampden County

A celebration of student artists took place in Springfield Friday night.

Springfield student art was showcased Friday at the George Walter Vincent Smith Art Museum. This was part of an opening reception for Youth Art Month, which is celebrated throughout March.

Art student Brianna Nortez told 22News the significance of her artwork is how it makes people feel. She said, “I just like seeing people smile, whenever they see something beautiful they smile.”

The student artwork remains on display until March 27.
