SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – As part of the River Crossing Project, temporary piers have been placed on the Connecticut River. The project started in 2019, and now three new river-crossing piers have been put into place.
There isn’t much space between piers on either side, but boats still have access to get through.
If you are out on your boat, take caution. There are buoys out telling you to slow down when in the construction zone.
