22News got a chance to catch up with Brynn as she was going into hair and makeup for Monday night’s show. She said she is so thankful for the support back home.
“To everyone in western mass, I love you,” Brynn said. “Thank you so, so much for the support. I really did not expect it. I thought, ‘Hey maybe they’d think this is cool,’ but they’ve gone over the top and I’m really thankful for that.”
22News also got a chance to speak with Brynn’s coach Kelly Clarkson. Here’s what she had to say about working with the 15 year-old artist.
Ashley: How has it been working with someone so young and how would you say she handled herself?
“It’s not what you expect,” Clarkson said. “You have conversations with her, even her vocabulary, her musical references like she’s very much an old soul. So I think that’s one thing she’s got going for her.”
