Grab a cup of milk, it’s officially Girl Scout Cookie season.
Girl Scouts, troop leaders, and volunteers unloaded more than 32,000 cases of Girl Scout cookies Saturday!
Thousands of cases were delivered throughout the state including several locations right here in western Massachusetts.
Dozens of cars lined up in the West Springfield Cinemark parking lot to fill up their trunks with sweet treats. 22News cameras were rolling Saturday morning when more than 8,000 cases were dropped off.
“We love selling cookies,” said Amani Kashouh, Girl Scout cadet. “Just going around the neighborhood, spreading joy. It’s fun.”
The Girl Scout Cookie Program is the largest girl-led entrepreneurial program in the country, with Girl Scouts of Central and Western Massachusetts serving over 7,000 girls from five counties in central and western Massachusetts.
