“Thrive after 55” fair held at Springfield College

The 2nd annual “Thrive After 55” health and lifestyle fair took place at Springfield College Friday.

More than one thousand folks over 55 took advantage of the information provided by dozens of agencies.

The Information ranged from legal advice to living a healthy lifestyle in your later years.

We learned a lot about rehabilitation, rehabilitation issues and all the facilities they’ve opened for that,” said Jim Goodwin of Wilbraham. “And we got a lot of brochures on that.”

“You’re talking about your health and you’re talking about the lawyers, you learn a lot, and you don’t have to pay for the attorney,” Minnie Galloway of Springfield added.

22News was one of the sponsors of Friday’s “Thrive after 55” event.

Other sponsors included Health New England and State Senator Eric Lesser.
