13 people, dog displaced after two-alarm fire on Hawthorne Street in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Mass (WWLP) – Thirteen people and a dog are without a home Thursday after multiple fire departments worked to put out a fire on Hawthorne Street in Springfield.

According to the Springfield Fire Captain Drew Piemonte, the 13 people made it out of 36 Hawthorne Street safely and are being assisted by the Red Cross.
