Two Springfield residents forced out of home after fire on Glenoak Drive

Hampden County

No injuries were reported after a house fire on Glenoak Drive Friday evening.

Springfield Fire Department spokesman Dennis Leger told 22News firefighters were called to 94 Glenoak Dr. just before 8 p.m., where they found a fire in a ranch style home.

The fire put two adults out of their home and caused $100,000 in damages.

Leger said the fire appears to have started in the kitchen of the home, but the cause is still being investigated by the Springfield Arson and Bomb Squad.
