SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Two suspects are in custody after an armed robbery at a TD Bank in Springfield Saturday.

According to Springfield Police spokesman Ryan Walsh, at around 9:15 a.m. officers were called to TD Bank located on Sumner Avenue for an armed robbery. A teller told officers a suspect handed over a note demanding money and implying that he had a gun. 

The suspect, later identified as 22-year-old Edward Rosso of Springfield, got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. Video reviewed showed officers a second suspect, later identified as 50-year-old Aaron Hadley, was acting as a lookout.

Rosso was found in the area of the 400 block of Sumner Avenue, he was detained and evidence was located in his pocket. Detectives found Hadley in the same area and after an investigation, both were arrested and charged with armed robbery while masked.
