SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Crews worked quickly after a van went up in flames in downtown Springfield Saturday evening.

22News crews were at the site of the fire on the corner of Columbus Avenue and Union Streets. Fire crews were seen working to put out the flames as smoke was billowing from the van’s hood.

According to Springfield Fire Captain Drew Piemonte, no injuries were reported and the Springfield Arson and Bomb Squad is investigating the cause of the fire.
