A large team of West Springfield volunteers took to the streets Saturday morning to clean up their city.
It was Clean Up West Springfield Day, which has become a well supported ritual on the west side.
More than 100 volunteers went from street to street including Union Street, the Town Common and Memorial Avenue picking up trash.
Volunteers from the Big E also pitched in, along with several town councilors and members of the Lions Club.
The Donut Dip provided hot chocolate for the volunteers during the chilly morning.
