Lt. Cournoyer at Holyoke Police Department confirmed a wall collapsed at a construction site at the area of Appleton and Canal Streets in Holyoke, possibly because of the winds.
Canal Street is closed at the corner of Appleton Street.
He says no construction workers were at the work site. No other information available.
Holyoke Mayor Alex Morse told 22News the site is an active demolition site. He said the collapse seems to be intentional and into the property, with some of it going into the street.
Morse said the four-acre site is getting ready for the relocation and expansion of a local business.
