Earlier this week, Peter Pan Buses cut the ceremonial ribbon at their new home in the Union Station transportation complex.
The bus company’s longtime Main Street building is now vacant. But there are new plans for the iconic property.
The housing and social service agency Way Finders has purchased the property for its facility, and will demolish the current building in the fall.
22News found out how Way Finders helps people who need affordable housing..
“Once we get a roof over their heads, that’s when our work begins,” said Lynn Wallace.”We provide services like financial education, home buyer training, we provide employment services, job placement.”
Way Finders Executive Director told 22News, work will start at the site of their new building after the first of the year.
