West Springfield celebrated the 49th anniversary of the Woodstock Music Festival Friday night.
Hundreds brought out their tie-dye shirts and bell bottoms to watch Woodstock tribute band, Back to the Garden 1969, perform at the Morgan Road Pavilion.
The benefit concert is the band’s only New England show this year.
Food was provided by the West Springfield Lions Club, and beer and wine were available for sale from other vendors.
“This is a tribute to those of us who remember Woodstock and love Woodstock,” said Robert MacDonald, an event organizer.
The concert was organized by the Rotary Club of West Springfield.
Admission was $25, and all money raised will be donated to local charities.
