The Yankee Pedlar House is scheduled to be moved from its current location on Northampton Street to Pine Street on Sunday.

According to OneHolyoke CDC, work crews will begin preparing for the move at 3:00 in the morning. The historic landmark will begin its journey down Beech Street between 6:15 – 6:30 a.m.  It is scheduled to reach its Pine Street destination between 7:00 and 8:00 a.m. Sunday.

During this time, access to Beech Street between Northampton and Cabot Streets will be limited. Parking will also not be allowed on Beech Street beginning at midnight Sunday.

The best viewing area will be at the parking lot of the Holyoke Senior Center. OneHolyoke CDC says foodWorks at Kate’s Kitchen will be selling breakfast, juice, and coffee at the senior center beginning at 6:00 a.m. To get there, just put 291 Pine Street in your GPS.
