An event was held Monday to help teens and young adults find work for the summer.
Careerpoint held their youth job fair at Holyoke City Hall Monday afternoon.
The fair was for people between the ages 16-24 years old.
The fair gave employers the opportunity to meet teens and young adults looking for summer jobs or permanent positions.
22News spoke to one student attending the job fair, she said events like these are helping her figure out what she wants to do for a career.
“If I come then I can check around, see the types of jobs that I might feel interested in one or another. I kind of like the nursing because I like how you take care of people. I like taking care of others,” said Dysire Tinsley, a Baystate Academy student.
