Massachusetts residents got to step from the Midsummer Berkshires into a “magical realm of the past” this weekend.
The Massachusetts Renaissance Faire wrapped up its “Time Traveler Weekend” Sunday. Dozens of people came out to the Cummington for a day filled with performances, costumes and comedy skits.
It was a family affair; children enjoyed donkey rides and juggling while their parents shopped around. Over 60 vendors were featured at this year’s fair.
Fari manager Angela Dabkowski told 22News, “We wanted to be a western Mass. fair. There’s a lot of Renaissance fairs in the area, but most of them don’t happen way this far in western Mass., so we were looking to get this engaged.”
This is the second year in a row the Massachusetts Renaissance Faire has been held at the Cummington Fairgrounds.
