Fans of all ages came out to take part in a Thanksgiving tradition.
The cold weather didn’t stop residents from supporting their teams. Players kept warm with heaters on the sidelines.
The two teams traded touchdowns in the second quarter.
One Northampton alumni told 22News he enjoys watching the younger players carry on the tradition.
“Thanksgiving is always the culminating event of the season,” said Beau Garbarini. “As a senior, it means a lot it’s your last football game for a lot of these guys they come out here do their best and have a lot of fun.”
Coming into the game Northampton led the all-time series between the two teams 3-0. And that now extends to 4-0 with Thursday’s win.
