A suspected lightning strike started a fire in a Hadley house Friday night.

Hadley Police Sgt. Jesse Green told 22News three people were home when the fire started in the attic at 314 River Drive, about 7:30 p.m.

There was a storm at the time, and fire investigators believe a lightning bolt hit the roof.

No one was hurt.

Power’s been shut off at the two-story house.

The fire was confined to the attic.

There is currently no word on whether the family will be able to return to their home.
