A Russell man was taken to the hospital Thursday afternoon after a crash involving his motorcycle and another car in Hadley.
The accident happened at the interscetion of West Street and North Lane just after noon.
Hadley Police Sgt. Mitchell Kuc told 22News the 21-year-old motorcycle driver suffered injuries to his left side. Kuc said the injuries did not appear to be life-threatening at the time.
The 59-year-old driver of the car, a South Hadley woman, was cited for failure to yield. Kuc said she received minor injuries in the crash.
The intersection was temporarily closed to traffic. When our 22News crew got there, we could see the motorcycle on its side in the middle of the road, and a vehicle with heavy front-end damage.
