Pisgah Road in Huntington is not paved, and dirt has piled up, and drivers are getting stuck.

One man who lives on Pisgah Road told 22News that he tried to get the town to grade the road back in the summer, but nothing was done.

He said some drivers are parking their cars far away from the their homes because they are worried about getting stuck in the ruts.

“Cars are getting stuck, destroyed. People are getting blown out ty-rods, ball joints blowing CV joints,” he said. “A friend of our had their transmission lines ripped out of his car.”

Many people who live on Pisgah Road said they have 4-wheel drive, and they are still getting stuck.

Some drivers actually park at the mailboxes before they get to the road, and wait for someone to pick them up.
