Pulaski Park renovations are well-received by local residents

Hampshire County

Northampton’s renovated Pulaski Park is expected to be a major attraction during Saturday’s annual downtown stroll.

The Northampton Mayor’s Chief of Staff Lynn Simmons told 22News that the $3 million improvement project has been getting rave reviews from residents and visitors.

Aliciah Porter, who works nearby, frequently enjoys lunch at the park.

“I think it’s a people-friendly park,” Porter told 22News. A lot of individuals, in the summertime, they bring their children here… I’ve seen them doing a lot of things… It’s definitely the ideal place to go to.”

Pulaski Park improvements were completed earlier this year.
