People are walking all night in Northampton to help find a cure for cancer.
Hundreds of survivors, caregivers, and loved ones are walking to raise money for cancer research and services.
The Relay for Life of Hampshire County stepped off Friday afternoon at Look Park, in honor of those lost, or who are still fighting their battles against cancer.
“It’s very important and I think it brings a sense of community,” said Madelyn Breen an oncology nurse. “It’s a sense that people aren’t out there alone and just wondering what the next step is and why is this happening to me and is there any hope.”
22News sponsors the relays for life every year.
Mass Appeal’s Danny New served as emcee, for Friday night’s opening ceremonies.
