UMass dining has found a tasty way to make it easier to host a Super Bowl party at home.
Even if you’re not a football fanatic, Super Bowl Sunday is one of the biggest food holidays of the year and planning the menu can get complicated and expensive.
UMass dining has a solution. They’ve offered the public Super Bowl meals to go for several years now, letting UMass’ award-winning chef do the cooking for you.
The Director of UMass Dining Services told 22News, this menu is a great way to showcase local farmers in the area.
“From our PT Farms Ribs, which are St. Louis rib-style that are going to be phenomenal,” said Garett DiStefano. “We also have a James Beard award-winning chicken tikka masala burger, our Chef Bob Bankert has won that a year ago so we’re going to feature that it’s a great burger. As well as some sides.”
And it’s a pretty good deal.
The menu serves six to eight people and costs $120 including tax.
It’s too late to place your order for this Sunday. But if you’re interested in the Super Bowl package, put it on your calendar for next year.
