Those visiting the Radiology Department at VA Central Western Massachusetts Healthcare System in Leeds may soon see decreased wait times.
According to a news release sent to 22News, a renovated Computed Tomography (CT) suite was unveiled at the main campus with hopes of increasing the amount of veterans able to be seen and decreasing the time patients spend waiting.
The new suite cost about $2.6 million.
Renovations to x-ray rooms and the purchase of new equipment are among other improvements planned for the center.
The center has sites of care in Pittsfield, Fitchburg, Worcester, Springfield, and Greenfield with the main campus being in Leeds.
