A Springfield man was arrested Friday and charged in federal court in Springfield with two counts of distribution of crack cocaine.
According to the United States Attorney of Massachusetts Andrew Lelling, 30-year-old Alonzo Williams Jr., was charged in an indictment with two counts of distribution of crack cocaine.
Williams was in federal court in Springfield Friday and was detained pending a detention hearing.
The indictment alleges that in October 2017, Williams distributed cocaine base on two occasions.
Williams faces a sentence no greater than 30 years in prison, a minimum of six years of supervised release, and a fine of $2 million.
