Two arrests in Enfield, in case involving federal, Vermont authorities

Two people have been arrested on outstanding warrants in Enfield, Connecticut on Wednesday.

A viewer sent us a video shot from inside his car on I-91 before 6:00 Wednesday night.  

The first suspect was arrested during that traffic stop.

Enfield Police Sgt. James Held told 22News police stopped traffic on I-91 for 15 or 20 minutes.

Sgt. Held also said this was part of an ongoing investigation involving multiple law enforcement agencies, including Enfield Police, ATF, and Vermont Authorities.

Enfield Police Lt. Willie Pedemonti told 22News, this incident then spilled over to the Motel 6 on Hazard Avenue. 

The second person that was arrested allegedly entered a hotel room around 9 Wednesday night, according to Lt. Keith Parent. 

He also told 22News investigators conducted a search warrant at the Motel 6 after that.

The two people were arrested, on outstanding warrants from Burlington, Vermont. 22News called Burlington Police, but our calls went unanswered.
