LONGMEADOW, Mass. (WWLP) – She’s got a voice thats taking ‘The Voice’ by storm. A voice the show’s judges didn’t expect from a 14-year-old.
Monday night, Longmeadow resident Brynn Cartelli made it one step further on The Voice.
She beat out fellow “Team Kelly” member Dylan during the battle round, to advance to the knockout round.
Cartelli said, “Kelly has been really great, she’s super down-to-earth and super-friendly. She’s been more of a friend than anything else.”
While Brynn’s quickly becoming a star, she’s still just like many other freshman at Longmeadow High School.
A community that clearly has her back. Dozens gathered in the auditorium Monday night to cheer Brynn on during this battle round.
She told 22News what its been like juggling both school and The Voice. “The day after my audition was really crazy, there was a lot of people that talked to me that usually don’t talk to me, so it was a lot of new friends. It was really funny, its been crazy but really really fun.”
