The Lubavitcher Yeshiva Academy in Longmeadow opened its doors to the community in celebration of Purim.
The Lubavitcher Yeshiva Academy welcomed people of all ages for a reading, dinner, and a performance from a clown.
Rabbi Noach Kosofsky told 22News, “I encourage anyone in the Jewish community out there to celebrate the special holiday of Purim, to celebrate what happened 2400 years ago and also reliving it today.”
The Purim celebrations continue into Thursday at the school. The Lubavitcher Yeshiva Academy will host a shtetl buffet dinner.
There will also be another reading and a Purim Masquerade Contest with prizes for participants.
