WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. (WWLP) – A Connecticut man was arrested at Bradley International Airport Thursday morning after he was allegedly found with a loaded gun inside his carry-on bag.
According to TSA spokesperson Lisa Farbstein, 42-year-old Stephen Royer told state police he used the same bag while camping and forgot that his loaded gun was in the bag.
Police seized the .22 caliber handgun and its five bullets and took Royer into custody. He is now facing a charge of circumventing airport security.
Farbstein told 22News this is the second loaded firearm TSA agents have seized at Bradley this year.
