Man indicted on charges in connection with trooper stabbing

A New Hampshire man has been indicted in connection with the stabbing of a Massachusetts State trooper.

According to Northwestern District Attorney Mary Carey, a Franklin County Grand Jury indicted 18-year-old Nghia Le of Manchester, New Hampshire in connection with the stabbing. 

Le will be arraigned in Franklin Superior Court on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. on charges including armed assault with intent to murder, armed assault with intent to rob, mayhem, aggravated assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, armed carjacking, assault and battery upon a public employee, assault with a dangerous weapon, and reckless operation. 

Le led troopers on a multi-state pursuit that started in Vermont and ended in New Salem October 19. Le allegedly stabbed a trooper in New Salem before being shot by police.

Le has remained held without bail since his arrest on October 19.
