Dunkin’ celebrating Red Sox historic season with $1.08 coffee

Dunkin’ is celebrating the Boston Red Sox’s historic season Monday.

According to Dunkin’ Spokesperson Sara Westhaver, the Massachusetts-based coffee chain is offering medium iced or hot coffee for $1.08 to their DD Perks members.

The price is in honor of the Red Sox winning a historic 108 games this season.

“At Dunkin’, we’re proud to be such a big part of Boston and help keep everyone in the city running, from the residents to the Red Sox,” said Dana Reid, Director of Integrated Marketing at Dunkin’ Brands.

Dan Foley of Chicopee told 22News that, as a Red Sox fan, he’s happy Dunkin Donuts is recognizing the team’s accomplishment. “I am a tremendous fan,” he said. “I go to a couple of games every year and watch them on TV and listen on radio whenever I can.”

The promotion is being offered at Dunkin’ chains in the following states: 

  • Massachusetts
  • Maine
  • All of Connecticut except for Fairfield County
  • Vermont
  • Rhode Island
  • New Hampshire
  • Essex and Clinton Counties in New York
