Police reminding residents to be safe as deer hunting season begins

The Tolland Police Department is warning residents that deer hunting season begins Monday, November 26th.

In Massachusetts, shotgun deer hunting season lasts two weeks.

Police are reminding hunters who may be walking in wooded areas to wear highly visible garments to avoid accidental injury.

They also suggest putting something highly visible on your dogs as well.
